BOTL Generations Red

BOTL, (Blends On The Lake), is a collaborative project involving five dedicated farmers from Niagara-on-the-Lake, each represented by a unique golden plot on the label. Our mission is to create bold and extracted wines while maintaining unwavering consistency in every bottle. The heart of BOTL is about nurturing Niagara fruit to its peak ripeness on the vine, resulting in wines that showcase the finest parcels of land during their prime. By foregoing the use of vintage on our label, we have the freedom to select only the best years, ensuring a robust and consistent wine.

This wine exhibits a stunning deep violet colour and a clean, medium-intensity aroma profile that includes notes of black currant, blackberry, and black plum, complemented by the enticing presence of five spice, subtle tobacco, and the earthy aroma of wet coffee grounds, all enhanced by the aromatic essence of dried oregano.

As you savor a sip, you'll discover a wine with dry, medium-plus acidity that gracefully balances its full body and higher alcohol content. It bursts with dark fruit flavours like fig, plum, and blackberry, accompanied by subtle herbal notes. The texture is delightfully rich, reminiscent of dark chocolate and Bergamot tea.
