Our unflitered Pinot Noir is hazy ruby in the glass with a touch of garnet, a natural result of bottling the wine unfiltered.
Red plum, cherry and rose petal come first, followed by wet stone, clove and a gentle touch of vanilla as it opens. The palate is fresh and lively, with cherry and currant flavours carried by bright acidity. Fine, smooth tannins give it just enough structure, while clove and cinnamon build on the finish.
Fresh, earthy and nicely restrained, this is a Pinot Noir that rewards a little time in the glass.
