The 2025 Chardonnay carries MW Cellars’ signature touch: expressivly rich fruit and a fresh citrus lift.
The nose opens with lemon meringue and vanilla cake, layered with pineapple, candied apricot, and a delicate floral perfume. With time in the glass, the fruit becomes more generous, recalling candied pineapple and the golden sweetness of preserved fruit.
On the palate, pineapple and apricot meet the bright citrus and creamy notes of lemon meringue. Fresh acidity brings balance to the wine’s richer flavours, keeping each sip lively and drawing the lemon character through the finish.
It owes its unique character to the Burgundian Clone 76 in St. David's vineyard, which imparts an extra touch of ripeness compared to its Niagara-on-the-Lake counterparts.
